Favourable due to his witty and comedic personality. So, when the opportunity came to create an avatar for this gentleman, our design team jumped at the prospect. Our youngest designer stepped up; with that flicker in her eye that says, ‘bring it on’, Lara knew precisely how to bring to life exactly what John was searching for.

Lara wanted to ensure that John’s character reflected his personality, but at the same time would still be a close look-alike to the real thing. She created his character on Illustrator, replicated from an image of John himself; this avatar now acts as the main element of his branding. We regularly alter his avatar’s outfits and actions to fit different themes, and to promote his services. As John Spratt is well-known for his ghost-hunting abilities, we thought it fitting to add some cartoon ghosts to his branding, with further animation for some movement.

A lone character soon turned into a family of avatars, as John had asked Lara to design further characters for his wife, two children, and even his pet snake! Ssssplendid! We continue to work alongside John and WOW him with the work we create; what can we say, we aim to please.
